Dirty disc error (unmodded)

hey does anyone know how to fix an xbox that just recently started saying no matter what game you put in even if brand new. the dirty disc error

A new dvd drive or maybe laser tweak.

Yes there is a tweak out there but I dont think it will last very long(at least for me it didnt)You can go on ebay or lamma and pick you a dvd rom up.

I replaced my dvd drive because of that problem (but also because I wanted greated media compatibility). If you opened your box already now may be the time to just get all you need/want at once, get a good dvd drive and a mod chip, and a HD if you didn't use live or don't care.

the thompson (one with the yellow label) is cheap, but it's likely the same drive that broke on you, so I'd steer clear of that one.
