disabling the modchip

1. how can i see what kind of chip do i got? is there a program or a config file ?
2. i'm quite sure i got Xecuter 2. how can i disable the chip to play xbox live?

if you have a xecuterr 2 there should be a switch on the front with 3 little switches on it the one on the left is to disable the chip, should make the led red. got a switch?
