Disapearing partitions

Greetings All!

I have a ver1.4 xbox with an x3 loaded with build 1959 of the bios. I recently came across a 160GB Western Digital hard drive and decided to drop that sucker in my box. I used the x3 to partition and format the drive. The problem I am having is that the F partition has disappeared. When I initially set it up it took a couple of tries to get it to even create it, but then it seemed fine. I transferred all my stuff back onto the box and went away for a few hours when I came back it was gone--the box was left on even... Can't be seen from FTP, x3 or evox. I have been going nuts trying to figure this out. Haven't found anything by googling or here about disappearing parts.

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys...

do you have the LBA48 setting set right in the disk settings (and check the lba48 settings customize bios to make sure it changed there) also in the evox ini, do you have it saying to show the F partition?

if not you can do it through evox or you can just edit it manually and change the No to Yes

Excellent! Thanks. I had changed the LBA48 option in the drive setup area but for some reason it apparently did not write it to the config. Once I changed it in the bios settings on the x3 everything was good.

Thanks Again

Re: DONYA MODS CASE

I really like the concept of this case.

Heres my opinions of the pros and cons, most of it is personal taste, but just wanted to add it.

PROS:

I really like what you did with the Xbox logo, its very well done.

The faceplate looks good as well.

LEDs look pretty nice

CONS:

I'm not too big a fan of the letter styling, but thats my opinion. I prefer perfect letter lining with each other, like a robotic look.

The circle on the logo is a tad off, but hell, I can't even draw a circle.

I like the layout of the console...but..it looks like a LOT of subjects have been crammed into it.

Definitely understandable that that is how the customer wanted it.

Definitely a very good artist, I've seen a lot of your past work, its really amazing.

Big fan of your Domo Xbox 360 mod. I'm a sucker for anything Japanese.
