GENERAL DIY USB Com cable

is there a way to make a usb com cable for coronas that use the sd rd/wr not jr-pro. i do not have a old com port on my pc so i guess usb to com is out of question. i know u can sue a regular usb with 3 cables but need a chip on mid or am i wrong ?

Why do u want a com cable? The most recent release of xell (0.993, which is integrated into jrunner) allows video output in xell on coronas. That being said the com points on the corona are the same as other slims (Tx, Rx, GND) so a nandx com cable will be fine or any other USB - Serial cable provided u know which colour wire is which.

just sometimes i do then with my laptop and dont have a tv around so its once of those thing i wont probably use but its good to have. so get the nandx update usb cable and cut the connector and use only the 3 colors on the manual right ?

Yep, if u have a nandx cable then use the wire diagram in jrunner image menu to help. U can also use the scan ip option in jrunner along with get CPU key button. I'm like u, I like to have the com option, also USB - serial can be useful for other things.
