Do falcon wire lengths matter?

Does it matter what wire lengths you have for the falcon motherboard with coolrunner.

i am wondreing because i had a failed zephyr attempt and the cables are as short as they can be while still reaching the point

also will ethernet cable wire work for this?

Wire lengths only matter for slims.

I haven't had any falcons with problems booting yet. Zephyrs are random and sometimes never work no matter what.

thanks i tried to glitch a zephyr and failed. it wasnt my soldering or anything the board just wouldnt glitch. so i sold the zephyr and ordered a falcon which will be here in a few days

Hi.
The main thing on falcon is to route your wires in the correct place or they can cause interference with the mainboard.
You can just use the wire as it is out of the pack no need to shorten them

its all about routing.

Route them like you are told in the instructions and you will be fine

With respect - it tells you this in the instructions so im not sure why it warranted a topic ?
