X360USB PRO Do I need both USB cables?

On a PC with only 1 USB for the 360 usb and one for the ck3 mini power usb, do I need to also use the power cable for the 360 usb?

It flashed a phat liteon fine without the extra usb cable, but does it need it for something else?

One usb on pc? that a pc from 90´s?

anyway, one cable ist for data and another for power, i think you need both (thats the reason why there are two).
You should bouy usb pci card, or use (for power) usb from any other electronics - tv, mobile phone adapter, dvd player.... almost everything has usb that you can use (off course for power, data usb needs to go to the pc)

The power-USB cable is there in case your PC's USB port doesn't provide enough power.
