LITEON 0225 Do I need the unlock switch???

As stated in my older post my unlocked pcb 1.1 unlock switch broke. I can still unlock/lock it through jungle flasher. My question is can I still use it like that if I lock it through jungle flasher but not the unlock switch.

I really need to know the answer so I know if I can just throw this pcb a way or not.

Don't throw it away I'm pretty sure you don't need that switch (I could be wrong though)... I'd figure as long as you software lock it you should be fine but I'm sure someone else will chime in...

I hope your right im going to let a couple other people answer so I know for a fact. I hope it is still usable.

A software lock should be fine.

If you lock the drive with JungleFlasher (status 0x8C), it should be fine.

I got it to work but lets up im xbl safe with out that switch.
