do i need to have a complete x2config.ini

i was thinking about taking up some c++. i wanted to set myself a final project something simple but has advanced bits and peaces basicly what i've thought about doing is a program to make the x2config.ini but only like the boot options and fan speed and then transfer itself across to the xbox.

do i need the rest of the ini file & do you think this will be too advanced for a c++ newb

I'd say it need's the same file structure, to be honest though, although I'm not a c++ guy, it's not too hard to get an app to create the whole thing.
