Preferably, all updates should be done with stock firmware on. All Stock Firmwares are within the standard firmware pack, available from xbins or IRC Channel

Just follow the guides as per usual, but when it comes to the part where it asks of you want to autoload the firmware. Click No. And then click open target firmware. You can then load up the Stock Firmware and press spoof to drive.

Then flash as normal.

Once you have completed the update, depending on which update it is.

So long as you have your original dummy.bin from your first extraction and that was fine, then you can just load that into source and then load the correct Custom Firmware, depending on which update you are at.

Pre 13146
Post 13146

Because drives that are pre 13146 are a different revision number to post. The 13146 update flashes most drive back to stock with a new revsion
