OK I know that I only need this cable if I would like the HHD & LAN to work , but I would like it to work. I am about to install a X3CE on a Xapt3r Solderless Adapter. I have read a bunch of install inst. but when it come to the green/red/gray cable do I need the grey? With the Xapt3r adaptor there is that little copper wire that get pushed into the “D0” so dose that mean I don’t need the grey? Is the copper wire the same as the grey?

I also have a X3 Pro Switch to install but I don't think that changes anything.

Any help would great

Errr... You DO need a D0 point connected. That's how the chip disables the onboard microsoft BIOS so it can boot from the mod chip instead.
