Do I update Dash after unlocked xecuter install?

Hi,

I have an xbox slim, I have successfully downloaded key and installed key on an Xecuter unlocked PCB drive which has LT 3.0 firmware.

My current dash is on 2.0.13599.0

I have plugged everything in and my backup games work fine.

1. Do i now update the dashboard to the latest one?
2. will this mess up the unlocked xecuter PCB board?
3. do I re-flash xecuter PCB after update?

Any help appreciated.

It is recommended to go back to stock firmware, but you should be fine if the drive is locked (WP set to 0).

just a hassle opening everything up and connecting the drive and putting old PCB back???

is this the right way or am i missing something?

You can fit the old PCB if you like and use that when updating.

If I don't change to stock PCB and keep the xecuter PCB what are the consequences?

let me get this straight..

1. put stock PCB and do update to latest dash?
2. put back xecuter PCB and i should be able to play my backup games? such as halo 4 etc...?
