do we need to use verbatim dual layer dvd's or could i use another brand

verbatim is whats required that's what I use but theres people that use others

Verbs is whats always been recommended. Top quality. There not expensive

verbs are the only disc ive found that always 100% overburn

cheaper media sometimes complete the overburn but its like 1-2 out of a 25 pack.

i personally keep verbatims for XGD3 games only that require overburn and use cheaper media for XGD2 games.

to answer your question the best i can,i dont use verbs myself,but it took foreeeever to get any other media working at all.so if you dont want to go into all that hassle of changing diff settings and making a bunch of coasters in process,stick to verbs,they are the only ones that work pretty much off the spindle.
