does any one know why I cant use my controller?

ok when I start up my xbox the thing comes up flash type:xecuter 3 (2048k) and it works but im trying to use my controler to select load bios from disk but I cant select it?Some one tell me whats going on.

I am having the same problem. I tried both the XBox one and another brand that I purchased and I am getting the same results

Try booting with the controller unplugged, once it asks you to select the option you want, then plug in the contoller. It doesn't always work, it took me alot of chances sometimes.

I'm also told you can use the M$ DVD remote.

(Make sure NO other controllers are plugged in.)

I had the same problem you have to use the DVD remote and your good to go!

I am having the same problem, with my controller not working. But I do not have a dvd remote, does this mean i have to go buy one. Or are there any cheaper suggestions. I installed a x3 in a 1.6 but can't get past the bios 3.0.1 blue screen. Help!!!

Hey, I have the same type of box, and problem. Like I mentioned above, boot with NO controllers plugged in, then once it gets to the point where you can select an option, plug the controller into a random port, it doesnt worK? Then try them all, if still not a go, then unplug, reboot an retry.

It's not a science, more like hit&miss, but if it got me there, I'm sure it can do it for you.
