Most likely you have a switch problem...

I posted about a possible defective modchip three weeks ago but now this new chip has no power either.

Did you use the switch that came with the chip or the old switch that you used three weeks ago?

I used the new switch. the chip I used before wouldn't even frag the Xbox because it had no power what so ever. I find it hard to believe that I got 2 bad chips in a row.
