does bios have anything to do with the hd output

i dunno i just installed a execute 2.6ce and when i try to use my hd component cables the first bank doesnt diaplsy nothing but u can hear audio then when u put the second bank it shows the flash bios menu in red and the screen is supposed to b blue when i put the regular xbox video wires in it worked fine so wat can be makin the hd cables not work now ????

I don't believe FlashBIOS has all the proper information to fire up the component video output. Use your normal cables until you flash a mod BIOS, once you've done that you can go back to the component output.
