Does foil and electrical tape trick work?

Does wrapping the blue and green wire on the back of the board in foil first then electrical tape make boot times faster? For my jasper 16mb.
Also does running the green wire under X clamps also help?

Try using a cap that should help boot times for jaspers.

you should have a capacitor with it if it's an original or if it's a v2 then just bridge the solder points.

i guess hes talking a about the capacitor the comes with the cr ... do u install the capacitor?

Mine came with 2 connected together in a heat shrink wire? Tht it?

you should really know what a cap is if you are to mess about inside your xbox! who did the rgh for you?
if you did yourself then check in the coolrunner pack if you see a blue ceramic "thingy" with two metal legs, then that is the cap, if not there will be two points on the coolrunner to connect, this will activate the onboard cap.

i wouldnt risk putting foil in there if it comes off its bound to short somthing out
