Does Hard Drive need to match MB?

My Mb went bad on my xbox and I am going to be getting a new one to mod. If I use the Xecuter 3 chip, do I need to reformat my existing Hard Drive? Or can I use it as it is? I really do not want to re-install everything I have on the drive!

Well hopefully it is unlocked. If not you will need to get a matched pair or if you have the key you can unloack..or you can use a new one and use evox to format.

yea u should cause once u put a new mb, u can put the key to lock it.
