Ok so i just soldered the qsb's onto my phat 360. When i plugged it in afterwards the power brick turns red and the 360 wont turn on.

I'm not new to slodering and my solder seems ok.

This is an old Zephyr that had rrod and i fixed it about 2 weeks ago and havent turned it on since.

Any idea what the problem might be?

Also did you check the console was working before you started work on it?

The RROD repair may have gone bad or you've disturbed something whilst installing the QSB's

Well it looks like i'm SOL.

I de soldered everything and still no luck. The power brick is amber right up until i plug it into the 360. Then it turns red.

Im lucky that was my practice board. Still sucks though.

Here are the pics. The one hole does have the solder removed from it since I did already remove the qsb's before planning on putting up the pics. Sorry about the quality, I dont currently own a macro lens.

On the brown capacitor. it looks like I rubbed it with the soldering iron. Could that be the problem?

Thanks for all the help

Thanks for the input everyone. It's not a nice unit. Lol It's just a RROD unit my friend gave me that I fixed. To bad it wen't without knowing what the problem was. I guess i'll use it as a practice solder board now, and maybe strip the components when i'm bored.

Ok so today is a great day.

I woke up this morning and it was still bugging me that this box still wasn't working especially when I knew I didn't touch anything out of the ordinary.

I took some compressed air and blew off the board.

Magic, now it works. Resoldered the qsb's for the nand-x and it dumped perfectly.

Thanks everyone for the help and a big thanks to diaboliq20 (I hit thanks) since you were bang on from the start.
