I have a few phat (mostly jasper) xbox's with the **** mod. I am thinking about getting into RGH mods and wondering...does this "wear out" an xbox any faster then normal? Providing its installed right, will the hardware last as long or will there be problems down the road?

It only slows down the CPU for like milliseconds whilst the glitch takes.place, it ain't constantly slowed.down!

Anyways, I've heard.some people.comment that it makes.the gpu run a little.hotter but.to.be honest with a jasper it ain't.much worry, add in a.change.of.thermal.paste (which should be standard.practice) and crank the fans up to a.steady 70% and it'll live as long as.the xbox.gods.will allow it, longer if you install extra cooling.mods.

No one, other than IBM engineers can give you a definitive answer, because we don't have the datasheet for the processor (we saw the leaked Xenon schematics, but how accurate are they, no one knows). We speculate that there are internal resistance that can handle the pulse and not "wear out" the processor, but that's a bit vague, cause we know nothing about the internal schematic. Gli said that he used his Zephyr for a long time and haven't seen any issues. So its pretty much safe, but potentially dangerous.
