I tried making it work for several hours but everytime i boot up window with the sata connected to the back (the drive was already in modeb using the resistor trick.) Windows would freeze a little bit while loading up the bar, but every time it wouldn't show up the cdrom drive on my computer, so here comes my question, which Sata card is the best to use to connect the hitachi drive to my PC? in textbooks guide it says the cheap Sata to usb drives work, i'm just wondering does anyone know a drive to recommend that'll absolutely work? I don't want to run out get some random card and still not have it work ;P Thank you for reading this and your patience with this newbie (i've flashed the samsung drive before, thats how i have the VIA card)

On another tip, i tried using Slax to set it into modeb but it didn't do it, thats why i had to use the resistor trick, so its more than likely the Sata card isn't compatible with the samsung drive no?
