Dont those cost a lot. This guy tell you to buy something and 4 minuets later you post that you've bought it?!? You should have done some better shopping. You may have gotten ripped off. How much did you pay?

2010 Recap - How to safely burn games for online...Expert?

Being from the original xbox1 and first gen 360 firmware hacking I have gone through many stages of the proper way to burn a game for online play. Original ripping, mulleter, abgx, wave 1,2,3,4... but I have been out of the scene for a year or so... life gets in the way of hobbies sometimes.

Does ABGX now require manual manipulation of new games? Is there a new program that is able to properly patch games with each wave?

What is SSv2 and why do some games require SSv2 patching to play online?

Please do not reply with you own questions or comments. I am hoping an expert can breifly explain the latest way to properly check isos for burning for online play.

Experts? Thanks!

If your ripping your own original games you just need a 0800 drive samsungs are best and xbox backup creater.

abgx isnt needed if your ripping from your own discs to do repairs.

Ok, I'm in the same boat as Triple is. I haven't messed with this since my box was banned over a year ago. I bought a new one and only use it.

Now my grandson is 4 years old and is now wanting to play games. I still have my old banned box for him, but I don't want to let him have my games.

I used to use a Kreon drive, but I understand that they don't do so well anymore. Correct? What is the 0800 drive that you are mentioning in your post?

Thanks for your reply.

0800 is a spare or Rrod drive from a 360 flahed with 0800 firm strictly for ripping games

If your console is already banned it doesn't matter what drive you use for your rips kreon will be fine for you but others that are trying to not get banned have to use the 0800 method.

0800 is an xbox 360 drive which is then flashed with 0800 firmware to be used on pc it requires a power source so something like xecuters ck kit will be needed as well (Samsung xbox 360 drive is recomended they can be had for £20 off net)
