Doesnt seem to boot at all with HDD and EXTREMELY SLOW WITH OUT IT.

How do i fix this. I have my xbox taken apart at the moment to fix the coil problem just to make sure its not that. I put electrical tape on the wires below. Have everything correctly soldered. Now my xbox wont boot at all with HDD and it boots extremely slow without the HDD in. If it boots without HDD and i plug the HDD in, the TV screen doesnt get signal but the Xbox is still on.
I honestly dont know what to do. O and btw im using the PHAT QSBs and my console is a jasper 16mb.

Please Help

People keep talking about a Capacitor that comes with your coolrunner. Cause i didnt get one :/ Where can i go get another, Radioshack?

Which CoolRunner do you have?

The Rev B has two pads with the word "CAP" written next to them - simply bridge these (if applicable) and it will enable the on-board 100nF cap.

what capacitor do i use? Ill go buy one and i am using the Rev-B i just didnt know what you guys were referring to.

ok thanks heating up the iron now. Also will this fix my HDD problem? Im +repping you btw and Like
