I have been tring to use iprep with dos flash using the benq tutorial for about 6 hours now and it says that after the flash drive has been created to boot up in dos all that works. But the part I am Having trouble with is I purchased a VIA VT6421A and when I boot to the flash I type in
DOSFLASH r xxxx 1 a1 4 orig.bin 0
with the xxxx being my port id and it just gives me the example page on how to type in a command for dosflash. Now when I type the exact same thing with out the 0 at the end
DOSFLASH r xxxx 1 a1 4 orig.bin
It goes to the next step and creates a good back up. Now this is my first time doing this so I am a bit scared to try to erase and flash the hacked firmware with out first knowing what the 0 is for and if there is a problem with not using it.
Also on a side note I did run the Make iXtreme firmware.cmd on the orig.bin and I got this error
*** WARNING ***
Drive versions do not match!!!
Do You want to spoof your iXtreme firmware to benq VADXXXX-XXXXXX? (y/n):
were xxxx are the firmware versions Please any help would be great TIA
