LITEON 9504 Doubt about a Dashboard update

What dashboard do you have now? If I'm not mistaken 13146 was the one that erases the firmware, so if you got something bellow that, yes it will return your drive back to stock.

if i have someone above, the firmware is not touch???
the problem: is a winbond and i would't dril the chip, so is there a way i can flash and then update the dashboard, i am not worried for XBL, it would be so nice.

Update your dashboard first, read your drive key from the original drive and then get an unlocked PCB if you don't feel confident in doing the Kamikaze hack.

Anyway, if you have a Winbond chip then the only options apart from Kamikaze is to buy a TX replacement PCB or buy an unlocked PCB like the ones in this thread http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70289

I believe ModTraders UK ship worldwide, i'm not sure if they have any PCBs in stock though.
