downgrade dash for jtag. if saved nand??

i just bought a rrod death and fixed it, but i wanted to just put firware on the cdrom and play burned games. i already have one jtag. but if i get bannd for playind burned games can i downgrade my dash with my origanal nand?? thanks

keep the jtag for all your backups, and use the one you repaired for xbox live un modified. best of both then m8

Well if you have the right kernel then by all means jtag it, if not the only other option is either use it for originals or update firmware for back-ups.
