drive 161 not detected

im a noob at this can someone please help me solve this problem? i have installed a solderless 2.6 ce on my 1.5 xbox and when i start my xbox it goes to the blue screen where you flash your bios but it says it does detect drive 161. i tried changing the dvd drive but i get the same results. can someone please help me?

so you dont get the option to flash from hard drive / cd / http

yes i do but the xbox wont detect the dvd drive. and when i unplug the chip i get an error 12

recheck your IDE cable or try another one

nevermind i got it to work. seems the ide connection on th mobo had some bent pins. thanks
