Drive not detected ms25, iXtreme 1.2

I'm trying to flash my samsung ms25. I'm trying to use iXtreme 1.2 but when i try to do L:\iDump xxxxxxx xxxxx it starts MTKFlash but comes back to say that there is "no drive detected, 1 file(s) copied" and starts SamTool which aborts saying the backup file doesn't exist. I'm using VIA VT6421 PCI card.

If you are plugging your sata cable into your Xbox360 DVD drive while your computer is already on, then try plugging in your sata cable when it is off. Then turn on your computer.

alright, i'm also having trouble getting Vista to boot into DOS

Follow these instructions and you should be able to boot from USB --

1.Go into System BIOS (Hit DELETE button when your computer first starts)
2.Choose "Advanced BIOS Settings"
3.Change "1st Boot Priority" to "USB"
4.Go into "Hard Drive Boot Priority" and move USB to number 1
5.Hit F10 to save and exit
