Hello,

I unbricked many drives with no issues whatsoever. but this drive is so stubborn.

It freeze during writing and got bricked. I closed JF (1.92) disconected power to Ck3i and the X360USB PRO. then tried to unbrick it using Liteon erase several times with no success.

This is the log:

Sending Lite-On-Erase request to port 0x0000
..............
Drive returned Status 0x80
....................
Device Intro failed!

well what OS are you running?

right click to properties and change it making it compatible Windows XP sp3 and run as admin and hit apply follow by ok. restart your PC and it should be good from their on out.

I am working with the same PC for 1 year with no compatibility issues (This is drive number 300+) for more than a year, but I tried what you said out anyway but it did not work.

Have you tried to Intro on the drive?
Yes but this didn't work to

Connect the drive to Xbox 360. If it doesn't show "E64" error, you have the hardware failure (check R204 and R206 fuses)
E64 means you have software error. Try this sequence:
1) Intro/Device ID
2) Yes
3) Power OFF
4) Groung the MPX01
5) Power ON
6) Release the MPX01

If nothing helped, try this sequence on another device (PC for example)

Yes. That's how I was doing it in the first place. I just tried to flash another Liteon and it went fine with no issues.

The switch on the CK3i is not working after I once plugged the molex cable inverted, but I flashed many drives since and I power cycled by physically removing and plunging the cable

Yes, it gives E64
I did as you suggested and it turned to 0x52 but it dosent go to 0x72.

After that I tried the Liteon erase but when I disconnect power it goes back to 0x80 and stays there

0x52 means drive isn't erased. Do you know MRA hack? (cut traces, use 18-22 ohm resistor)

Agreed, he's written enough back to the drive to have reinstated firmguard or whatever you want to call it. I'd say mra is best here too.

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but unless the status changes from 0x80 during vendor intro, it means the drive has lost all communication?

Even a drive with corrupted firmware would change status to 0x51 / 0x52 / etc when powered on/off. The fact it's not budging indicates something more sinister.
