drive size error.. please help!!

okay.. I have a SH-D162C drive that has been flashed with kreon v.81 and I downloaded the latest version of xbox backup creator 2.4. I am getting an error when I put the game in the drive and open the program. the start button is not highlighted, and it says the volume of the drive is 4.00 TB (4,398,046,511,104 bytes). Here is what the bottom window of XBC says:

The start button is not highlighted and I don't know what the problem is.. HELP!!!

2.4 is not the latest version of XBM, 2.5 is. You also might have to click "Unlock drive".

I downloaded 2.5. I select drive options and unlocked the drive. It does show the disk at a regular size. When I try to do a complete backup I get an error message saying error: current partion is not visable. Here is the status screen from the bottom frame:

Try unlocking the drive twice instead of just once.

Tried that and I still get the same error, it says "unable to determine the current visable partition." and then resets the drive size to 4.0 TB

how many games have you tried.

the drive is set on master right. they seem to do better if they are

I have tried 3 games, gears of war, lost planet and 99 nights.

yes, it is set to master. I do have a slave drive as well, that wouldn't have anything to do with it would it?

im not sure.at this point i would think the firmware is the dump drive.that the only thing i can think of.

mine says this before i unlock the drive Bytes Used: 6.87 MB (7,206,912 bytes)

after looking at mine better your drive has got to have a problem.

i would think the flash in it is bad
are you sure it has the kreon v.81 flash in it ,if so that it was done right

if you had another one i would say try it.i know most people dont have 2

I bought the drive off of ebay and was flashed by the seller. It says in XBC that it detects kreon v.81. I am trying to contact the seller to see if he has another one I could swap it out with.
