drive swap

The tray in my dg16d4s drive wont open . can i swap the pcb out a dg16d4s and put it in a dg16d5s drive and then put that in my xbox?. Will it work?

works fine as d4s and d5s use same hardware,pcb and fw are only diff :)

Yup as nofel said... You can also check the rubber band on the drive as this seems to be the most likely culprit for drives not opening
