drive wont get detected in windows

well i have the hitachy 0078 i put in mode B but wont detected....i have the via chipset 641 i downloaded the drives and install them but still no help any ides for my drive to get detected ohhh and i used slax 2.1.....also i gated dected once but when i was abou to startes to do everything computer frozed helpp me ill pay u

Well I dont accept cash or credit cards but I do accept Knowledge as payment once your problem is found.

Make sure you have no other devices in place beside the C drive and CD drom drive. Make sure you plugged into the correct sata port. It should be the inner connection and no the one on the outside the PCI card. Does your sata card info show up when your PC boots up? I always set the bios to search for the sata drives first before looking at IDE drives as well. It makes the machine take longer to boot to windows but I can see when it detects the 360 drive before it hit windows.
