LITEON 93450 Drive Won't Power On Or Eject After Trying to read key with PhatKey!

Hi Guys, I have 2 liteon 93450c drives that now have a similar problem.
I am using an x360usb pro alongside a CK3 Prove V3. I use the xbox itself for power.
When i tried using the phatkey button in JF, the key extraction failed (me being a noob n not knowing how to do it exactly). I now know how to do it cuz i modded another drive subsequently. After it failed i removed power from the drive and powered it back again. JF no longer recognized the drive. Nor does the drive power on again. No eject etc. When i turn on the xbox, the green light just keeps blinking.

Can anyone help with this.? Is there a way to get my drive to respond again? Im basically stuck with a non responsive drive and no key or dummy extracted.

did you connect power right way???
its easy put wrong way and it will damage drive!!!!!

Click PhatKey, click Yes, hold switch down (LED off), probe MPX01, release switch (LED on), remove probe, hold switch down (LED off), count to 5, release switch (LED on) and click OK. Those are the steps required for a successful PhatKey extraction, if you plugged the power cable in upside down then the drive is most likely fried.

I put it the right way. I noticed this happened after power cycling the drive during phat key xtraction. Which i wasnt supposed to do. Drive is not fried. I just wont respon after trying to get key and then closing JF!

I have blakey. As I said, I now know how to successfully extract now. Problem is, JF will no longer recognise my drive as it wont eject etc. so even when i click on Phatkey, jf will say aborting because no drive was found. I can tell the drive has power in it by testing But it simply wont open/eject.

Try and get in touch with Teajunkie, he can most likely lift and read your drive's chip to obtain the drive key. The only way out of your situation would be to run LiteOn Erase but seeing as you don't have your drive key, that isn't an option.

Teajunkie? Who is that? Does that entail shipping my drive to him?

He's a moderator on this forum and he specialises in this type of thing. Yes, you would have to ship the drive to him but he is very reliable and i'm sure many forum members will also vouch for him.

Basically, yes. You need that drive key before you even think about erasing the drive, although you could try the reset glitch on the console and get the drive key that way. You do have one other alternative and that would be to MRA the drive.

no no he write that he use the xbox itself for power and he cant do what u saying to him all time phatkey failed with the power of the xbox
the only way is the glich to find the key

If you read my last post, you would see that he can also try MRA which would provide him with a full firmware dump.

Mra won't work if he has wiped the firmware which it sounds like he has.

Plug it up to jf with USB pro. Even with it not showing press liteon erase. Press ok each time it tells you to then power cycle the drive as it tells you. Give it a few seconds and see if the flash properties show up as that's how you intro a blank drive.

If they do show up it means your drive is fine but you have no firmware and there for no key. If it doesn't show up then your board is fried.

Can I ask were you using a probe 3 or mra or anything such to get the key originally?
