I was flashing a benq drive and everything went fine in jf, but when I put tested it to see if it would boot my backups the drive itself would not open. At first I thought this was kind of odd so I just reflashed and it fixed the issue. My question is this, what would cause the disc drive not to open after jf says everything is normal and I outro'd the drive as usual? Just a bad write?
drive wouldn't open after flash of LT+ 2.0?

an erased or corrupt firmware does cause the tray not to open, kind of wierd tho that JF said everything was fine.

Im assuming its opening now and that you have not opened the casing.
Then with that assumption I would say it was a bad write.
