Dual NAND+ixtreme LT.3 safe?

so i saw that this guy was selling Dual NAND+ixtreme LT.3. i need to know, won't the flashed drive destroy the purpose of dual NAND since it can be detected regardless of the nand and wether the game is a backup or retail? is there something im missing?

Ok, i'm going to clarify this since my explaination was terrible the first time around and sorry to all those people who misunderstood me the first time and put time into helping:

If i use the stock nand to play original, retail games on an ixtreme LT 3 drive on xbox live, will i be running any chance of ban?

LT3 is not detectable, bad media can cause a flag though.

Assuming the price is right, you can always revert back to stock firmware.

LT has been safe online for years, you will only get banned for unpatched games.
