Dumb picture question!!

Hey, how do I put pictures in my posts? I want to show some pics of my xlcd install. Do I need to have the pics online?

You have to post them as a link.... Yes you would have to have them somewhere else so that you can click a link... ie...geocities.com

Help with Hitachi 0078FK

Hi folks, im really new to this and found many guides, but was worried to try most of them cause they are outdated and not very specific on software details.

So im wondering how exactly to flash the Hitachi 0078FK Drive?

I have a SATA Cable, and a spare SATA port on my PC, Windows Xp Home Edition btw.

I just need to know what else I need software and hardware wise, and do I need a monitor for my Xbox and my PC? Or can I use the same one?

Any help would be great thanks!

just a word of advice dont play the console on xbox live as the fw for this drive is not xbox live safe

Yeah I had heard that, thanks man. Is it a definite ban though? Or is there just a chance ill be banned?

Im going to be getting slim soon anyway so ill keep that for XBL.

Also does anyone know what I should use to Rip & Burn backups of my games?

Won't be an instant ban but you will likely be flagged for a banning, and when the time comes everyone who is flagged will be banned roughly at the same time.

You can use Xbox Backup Creator (XBC) to backup your games, along with a Kreon drive or an Xbox 360 drive flashed with 0080 firmware.

If I never go online with my xbox but still use my profile offline but then download it onto a clean xbox one day would it still be flagged?

Im not too fussed tbh but I do like the occasional killing spree on Battlefield or CoD

The clean Xbox wont be flagged but noone knows if playing offline will salvage you from a banning on the flashed console, most likely not :L

Hey, I transferred my Gamertag to a Memory Card, now if my 360 gets flashed will there be traces of my tag still on the Hard Drive? And will it get banned?

Figured if im gonna get flagged and banned I may aswell try salvage my XBL Gamertag

they don't ban the gamertag, just the xbox itself

Ohhhh I thought it would be the 360 and all the XBL accounts on it.
