well it was my first attempt at soldering in stuff all was going well it was fragging but that was fine on checking my contacts i noticed summit...

when i put my muilty meter on one of the two red cricles and then touch the pin circled blue it gose off is this right or have i bridged it some how.. hope its not a new mother board i will cry lol

Nope..that is right it should bleep..
pin 8 is LAD2 and thats the right point

Frags usually r soldering but this one is not the prob...
check them all visually..do u get two blue lights on your chip
have u checked that u have set switches correctly...
u will get a fault if trying to boot from a bank with no bios

i get lights i dont no if its 2 tho i have checked my connections they seem to work but now it wont boot at all it will go to the msdash as if the chip aint there i have checked the d0 that seems fine i'm at a loss :(

make sure that there's two lights on the chip otherwise how's the chip suppose to power up properly if it doesn't get the right voltage.

That was the first mistake, you and everyone else who hasnt soldered before, should practice on some old electronics before attempting it.

Other than that, is there any chance you could take a picture of your soldering job?, its alot easier to see possible errors if we can see how you've done.
