Ok, I have a DuoX 2 GS Cromwell/FlashBios modchip, I'm trying to flash the 3.0.3 bios via disc. Everything works fine, I get the flashing/wrighting screen, and my xbox turns off. But when I turn it back on, theres no "rox my box" at the bottom screen. I don't know whats wrong, but I hope someone has a answer, well thanks in advance.

Ok, it's a V1.0 xbox, everything worked fine, untill I tried flshing the bios, first I tried flashing the Xecuter 4983 bios, but they wouldent stick. I'd boot up my xbox and end up stareing at the flash bios screen again, tried holding the button, holding both buttons, booting up a backup anyways, it was a no go. So I then whent back to the duomodchip site and figured, hey I can can use either the m8+ bios (non 1.6) or the Xecuter 4983 bios. Burned m8+ bios (non 1.6) and.......! FRAG! I can switch to the linux mode, so I was wondering is there a way to get the right bios back on and if so what are the right bios or whipe the chip? I used the EvolutionX M8plus Bios, M8plus.bin.

Funny how non xecuter chip owners come here for support.

If you want to flash a bios to that chip it must be 512kb. We recommend the x2 5035 bios as it's already 512kb. If your xbox is a 1.6/1.6b you need to use that bios. IF it's 1.0-1.5 you can use 4983 but you must create a 512kb version of it before you can flash it.
use dos
copy /b bios.bin + bios.bin bios512kb.bin
