Hi i have a 1.2/1.3 xbox with the duox2 chip. when i flash x2 5035 bios in evox it always crashes half way after bios is erased. 4981.06 works fine any ideas
Haven't used a duox2 at all, but the X2CL is twice the size of the older X2 BIOSes. 512K rather than 256K. So that "half way" might not be a coincidence. Does the duox2 support 512K? Do you need to change any switches/jumpers to do so? How are you building the bin file you are flashing? Have you tried FlashX for BIOS flashing rather than EvoX?
Is your chip a clone? It is a well known fact that the duox2 clones are not able to be flashed with the new xecuter bios. I put in authentic duox2 in my grandmas xbox and i was able to flash it just fine with x2 5032.
