What do they base their banning on?
I've been outta the scene for a while, just would like to know if it is based on updating via live while checking the flashed drive during the update or if it bans you while playing xboxlive. All my friends got banned in Oct 08' or 09'(i think it was during the MW2) so i've been playing my system offline.
I think i'm using iXtreme 1.4/1.6 with double yellow wires and on firmware D:2.0.8955, K:2.0.8955
I know when they were banned I just kept on playing and my achievements kept on getting updated online even thought it automatically signs me out of xboxlive but recently it stopped. If i were to update now would my HDD be locked? and if i took my HDD and brought it to another 360 to update my achievements will it get that console banned?

i'll flash back to stock then do the new dashboard update and then flash it to LT
