A friend that doesnt knkw anything about electronics gave me a xenon with a fried dvd drive. Now is there anyway to get the dvd key off the drive or motherboard.. it is on the latest dash as far as I know..

If its on the latest dash, u'r only option is to try and get the key off the DVD drive. But being a xenon I wouldn't bother, get yourself a jasper or trinity.
I have a jasper elite too lol. I plan on installing the cr4 when it comes out and using my xenon for live.. well at least till I can afford a demon nand
Not that i know of. He barely knows how to use a iPhone tbh.. and no i haven't taken pictures yet but the pcb looks clean. I sat down last night and went over it with a magnifying glass..

Edited the post and uploaded to the forums directly 
heres one side of the pcb 
. the red wire was really loose and was barely making contact when i got it and i soldered it back on but i took it back off when i was inspecting the board..

I would desolder all wires, then solder all of the wires up correctly and make sure all cables are plugged in correctly. Right now you don't have worm motor cable plugged in. So after you do all of that (if you need an image for referance of correct cable locations look that up and follow that) and you're still having an issue then take pictures of both sides and repost those.
