ok this has probably been asked and I just couldn't find it, My 360 has an LG 47d that has gone out, Can it be replaced with a samsung TS-943 ms25 drive without complications? And if so what do I have to do, other than change the drive (which I already have the 360 apart).

You need to be able to extract the key from your Hitachi drive. With this, you can flash a ms25 with stock, or hacked firmware no problems.

Read through the guide;

You'll need to follow it to read your current firmware, and then once you have your key inject it into a Samsung firmware and follow the Samsung flashing portion of the guide

I will also have a tool released shortly that can take your hitachi original dump and inject everything you need (key and version) into your hacked samsung file. If you dont get around to doing this in the next couple of days, watch for Samsung Keytool v0.500 - should be out soon.
