Just a warning I have seen this in other posts on the net and it just happened to me
When you have a DVD in the drive and the console locks up
Do not move the unit until you power down or remove the disc
The DVD drive does not hold the disk firmly enough to prevent damage I moved mine and I heard a noise that sounded like a cooling fan hitting something internal I then powered down and then ejected the disc I found that the noise was caused by about 5 scratch marks made by the DVD drive
The scratch marks went completely around the disc
This made the disc faulty as the XBox 360 would no longer read it
Luckly I bought the game at Walmart and they gave me a replacement
I have also seen reports that some peoples discs have even had burn marks due to heat but this one has not happened to me
