Hey people. I haven't been keeping up to date at all in the 360 Modding scene ever since I flashed v1.6 on my Xbox 360 DVD Drive. I think it's a BenQ, I'm not home right now to check. It still plays my backups-with the use of the 'activator.iso' dvd-although I haven't made many in a while because I know the newer ones needed a firmware update (atleast I think..do they?).
I got console banned when the wave occurred right around Modern Warfare 2 time I might say. I was playing online before it was released. Thought I was a read bad-ass...:duh:
Anyways, I went ahead and got the 250GB Kinect Slim around Christmas time last year, but I still have my old modded Xbox. It still plays my backups like I said earlier, but I would like to modify the dashboard on it and allow it to save my whole game images and a bunch of other game system games such as N64, Super Nintendo, SEGA etc...
What are my options? Do I have a shortcut method because my DVD firmware is already flashed? What options do I have to get as much space as possible on the modded Xbox? Right now its the removable 20GB.
Also, could I burn newer games and just use the activator dvd with my current firmware or are the newer games incompatible with v1.6?
I'm not a n00b when it comes to modding, I just haven't been up to date in the 360 mod scene. I'm finishing a degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering, so I have experience in soldering and what not.
