DVD Firmware

I have a samsung sdg-605 drive in my box and am looking to upgrade the firmware(assuming that's what the firmware section of xbins is for). was just wondering how I would go about doing the upgrade itself. I have mtkwinflash as well. would that do it for me over the nic cable? or is there something for the box itself I need to get? many thanks.

no, that firmware is for a pc dvd drive that is going to be modified for use in the xbox, it's the same firmware that's on an origional xbox dvd drive.
