Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or thread or whatnot, but I have a problem that I would like to ask. I have a modded xbox. Not softmodded. It is a xecuter3. I have two hard drives that I switch out when I either want to play live or just mess around with my mod. My problem is I was watching a movie then it started to slow down, then the movie froze. The xbox was still on, but the movie wouldnt play. So I took out the movie and tried again, didnt work. When I turned the xbox on, it came to the ms dashboard like normal. I could access xbox live and see friends online and I could do all of the non-disc options. But when I put a disk in, it started to have the green LED circle on the front of it flash as normal, but then stopped flashing and was just straight green. The DVD never loaded but the screen just stayed at the Dash. Does anyone know what happened or what I should do?

Is this an original dvd or one that you made? Xboxes are known to befinicky about what discs they will read. Does it do this with all dvd's or just that one? What drive does your xbox have?

Thomsons are known to be shyte, you can try adjusting the laser if you know what your doing, or if you find a good tutorial, but otherwise just replace the dvd drive. Best drives are the samsung 605B (original xbox drive) or the PC drives modified for Xbox use are rumoured to be even better, samsung and/or LG drives i think they use.
