Ok....ive used the search...and cant seem to find exactly what i need. About a month ago i modded my box with the Xecuter 2.6. Everything worked fine. Then my DVD drive started to act up so i replaced it with a new DVD drive from system-mods.com. I remeber that when I first put the chip in I tested it with the chip on and off to make sure I still got the MS dashboard. I dont think i tested the XBOX with the the chip off after i installed the new DVD drive. So, yesterday I turned the chip off because I am finally getting on the XBOX live bandwagon, and popped in my new game. And now it launches the start up splash and then says that my XBOX needs service and flashes the red/green on the eject button. i dont think it would be a driver problem for the DVD drive because it works with the chip ON. i have a older version XBOX 1.1-1.5 and used the solderless mod for the chip. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe I need to update a driver somewhere in the HDD?
