I had an open tray error so I tried to swap out my benq dvd drive by purchasing a new benq dvd drive well in the process of reading the original open tray error benq my molex power supply shot craps thus frying the original benq drive so I found a copy of the key from a previous read in jungleflasher. I then spoofed the stock firmware with key to new benq drive and attempted to update to latest dash but now when I try and play a game it simply starts to act like it is going to play the game but then disconnects me from xbox live and sends me back to the dashboard. Also some backups read as play game and other that used to work fine read as play dvd and the original xbox 360 games also read play dvd so I am not sure whats going on with it. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. Also if for some reason my key is from pre 13whatever is there anyway to update that?

Well I tried what was recommended and still have same problem, the dvd drive reads as lt 3.0 firmware on the drive in jungleflasher and the system is updated to the latest dashboard 2.0.16747.0. it just really seems weird that I cant play any games even offline because even trying to play a game online it tries to play and then reverts back to the dashboard im guessing maybe something happened during the latest update but not sure how I can fix that I have tried deleting my profile, deleting the cache of the xbox, I formatted the hard drive thinking maybe that was it I am pretty much lost at what else I can do to fix it, I was thinking of just getting an **** but not sure if that would even work because I possibly could have the same key problem. so any advice is greatly appreciated!

well I did that and the original games still say play dvd with stock firmware, I was using the orig-04421C-A020 but nothing seems to change it still reverts me back to the dashboard when I try and play a game even offline same thing I am really confused.

I am 100% sure that the console should have a benq and the new drive plays dvds fine and ejects when I push the eject button so it seems to be at least powering up and I will post Jungleflasher log when I get to other computer as it is on my other computer.

What type of console is it? Do you have a way to get the cpu key to decrypt the nand? You may need to build a nand with a clean secdata.
it is an old phat jasper elite console from back in the day. I do not think I have the required tools to decrypt the nand unless a x360usb pro will work.

If you can, do as Blakey asked. Reflash the drive with the (supposedly) correct dvd key and post the output log from Jungleflasher.

It could possibly be a Falcon Motherboard then but I was told it was a jasper when I purchased it but I pretty sure the original drive was a benq, the manufactured date is 8-19-2009.

first of all u need to update jungleflasher and your x360usb pro to the latest. The big problem is u have a spoofed drive and u are also using the wrong firmware. Have u downloaded the latest jf firmware pack from xbins. Also I wud still think that the original drive maybe a 16d2s liteon if it is a jasper. U wud need to temperary rgh the xbox to find out what the original drive is to be 100% sure.
