dvd2xbox problem

i have been trying to copy the movie The Day After Tommorw for a while now, everytime i try, it gets stuck at 7% and gives me an error.


anybody else have this problem? or have a solution.

you disc may be dirty or scratched and cannot read the data on disc...if it works as it should in a dvd player then slip it in your pc dvd drive and ftp it in there. though video never works for me that way but its worth a try.

it works if i just play it

also are xbox's supposed to be able to play back movies????

because i just copied another one successfully and i cant figure out how to play it.

ok to play videos and music and all that other good stuff get the app/dashboard xboxmediacenter (xbmc) from the usual places and edit the config files in there for your liking, run it from your dash, select my videos, and select the partition and browse for the file. Should play nicely. I'm not sure whats wrong with the dvd that wont copy for you though.

i already have xbmc, for some reason the dvd i backed up wont play off it

do u need to hit any certain buttons? (i think i hit all the buttons)

i bricked mi 47 dj!!!! i think

Ok so i was hacking my hitachi 47dj. i got the correct key out and everything was ready for flashing when BAM jungleflasher froze and then closed up. it had already written some info in the drive when it closed. Now when i turn on my xbox it has a flashing light in the middle of the power on button but it does not open or close . i cant send mode b or anything.But when i turn my computer it detects it on the bios.

PLEASE HELP ME

if you need any more info just ask me.

yep its bricked. You can use the info you have from it to spoof to another drive, or you can pay someone on this site to unbrick your hitachi

personally, i would just get a replacement drive and do some spoof (don't get another hitachi for fear of bricking)

Re-Install the drivers, try disabling and enabling the card. If you know what port its on, just send mode b to that port.

Also make sure to power cycle!

The drive will be bricked, Jungleflasher did the same to my 47! it dumped the original firmware without any issues but it froze when flashing ixtreme.
I went by the book and I still managed to brick it!!

I sent it to a guy but he couldn't fix it, your best bet as said above is to buy a new drive and use the key from the hitachi to spoof the new drive.

I have flashed many Samsung's MS25/28 and had no issues using iprep.

The hitachi's are right sodds to do! avoid them if you can.

manualy open the drive tray half way and try. this always works for me.

why does the majority of all 47 brick? is it possible to just buy a new drive (keeping the 47 as a backup stock) to run back up games?

if so what is the best ones to buy?
