Ok i just installed a X3 chip with xapt3r and the control panel, ran into some problems flashing the xbox cuz im a noob at this ok so now i want to back up some games on my xbox. After reading a bunch of posts all i heard was dvd2xbox, so i went on xbins and downloaded it, so now what do i do? is it for the compy? or my box? would love some help

Do ya have a dashboard installed? Slayer's Evox 2.6 would help ya out with dvd2xbox and other tools to help you along with things. dvd2xbox is program used on the xbox. i believe someone else asked you about a dashboard as well in another post you had.

dvd2xbox is an app that runs on your box
once you've got it, unrar it and ftp it over to your apps folder of your box and depending on what dash you're running, it should show up under your apps, launch it and backup your originals

ok i understood some of what you said. but could you spell everytying out form me? lol im new at all this modding and im not sure what exactally FTP means or where to get a dashboard or whatever

check out the stickeys around the forums and go to xbox-scene and click on the tutorials section
in those places you will find all the answers you need
