E 74 Error Before I`ve Even Messed...

Hi, I have already had to return my 360 for repair(over Xmas :evil: )..Only used it a few hours since a replacement was delivered and I have had a few E74 messages popup on startup :cry: ..but not always(checked all av/power cables H/drive)..can anyone advise if its worth sending back for repair before I try flashing...this may sound like a silly question but my orignal 360 had a Hitachi drive installed but when my returned console arrived it had a Samsung Drive installed.. I`m worried incase they find a way of preventing people Flashing the Drives.??
any advice would be appreciated :D

all drives can be flashed so dont worry there.

74: AV cable Error - There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable.

All drives are not flashable,phillips-even though they are rare are not flashable at this time!

thats just a little picky afaik the philips is not even shipping in retail drives.

But you are correct the philips cannot be flashed
